The song is "The Earth Is Your Mama."The new CD from Parma is called "Celebrate Earth" It's a children's CD.A little more about the disc: -The release date is March 30th, just in time for Earth day! -Will be available for purchase at www.recessmusic.com,www.naxosdirect.com, www.amazon.com, iTunes,and a variety of physical and digital music retailers -The disc contains Enhanced Content, which you can accessby placing the disc into your computer.

KatieCat has just released a new CD that was recorded live July 19, 2009 at the recital hall of PianoSD in San Diego California.
The CD is titled
"KatieCat Jazz! Live with the John Cain Jazz Trio."
John Cain on piano, Bill Andrews on Bass and Marly Waak on drums.

Between traveling and performing, KatieCat has been hard at work in the studio recording a new CD titled "Blue Cat Diamonds." It is an eclectic mix of songs from different genres beautifully orchestrated and performed, as usual, in Katie's honest and unique style. The CD includes songs by Joni Mitchell, Burt Bacharach, Mildred Bailey and some new original songs by John Cain.

All World Music is sponsoring a concert Sunday November 30 at 3:00pm.
Proceeds from donations will go to the Zihuatanejo International Music Festival to help fund music programs for school kids in southern Mexico.
Several All World Music artists will perform, including: John Cain, Katie Cat, Juan Manuel Morones, Ossie Arciniega, Kiko Jimenez and others will be coming on board.

University of Phoenix, Las Vegas, Nevada Radio station “Groovin U” produced a 30 minute special on Life’s a Good Gig and the music of John Cain. Special will be aired February 23 at 11:00 am.

San Diego City Library honored John Cain and other local San Diego authors. Life’s A Good Gig will be featured February in a month long exhibit in the lobby of the main city library downtown.

Cain will be pianist for singer and grammy award winner Chris Calloway-daughter of legendaery jazz man and band leader Cab Calloway at a concert at “Dark Thirty Productions” in Lakeside Ca.
Feb. 16 2:00pm Cain will perfrom a concert and meet the author event at Piano SD-Baldwin piano center in San Diego. Special guest artists will be international opera singer Gorge Lopez Yanez, violinist Roberto Sandstrom, jazz singer Katie Catinella, renowned Latin percussionist Kiko Jimena, famed Mexican composer Juan Manuel Morones.

Cain was invited to perform at the week long guitar festival. He asked his friend and extraoridiary guitarist Jose Molina Serrano to accompany him. Jose is from Tijuana - was a childhood friend of Carlos Santana-traveled with Santana on his world tour for 3 years. Jose’s life story is in a section of the book.
